Habitual Quench & Feed quaint little café, renowned for its succulent burgers and handcut fries, is a favourite brunch spot amongst locals and visitors alike. Upon entering you’ll note the dark polished wooden floorboards, the exposed brick walls, the artfully arranged vintage picture frames and immediately feel at home. A cheeky little sign at the door reads – No, we do not have Wi-Fi. Talk to each other or pretend it’s 1993. The café is not particularly spacious, so be warned, at lunchtime it fills up quickly with eager customers looking for their comfort food fix. If you like, you can sit outside in the shade amongst the vivid green shrubbery and overgrown pot plants. But either way, get in early and bring your appetite!

The food is mainly American-inspired, offering delicious burgers, sandwiches, all-day breakfast and a tempting array of fresh-made juices. Mouthwatering pancakes, muffins, and waffles are also available, and other baked treats are on display at the counter. The meals are thoughtfully crafted, well-balanced, and of healthy-sized portions. Customer favourites include the Green Chili Cheeseburger, enormously satisfying with its thick, juicy patty and bun toasted to perfection, the tasty steak sandwich, and of course, the utterly indulgent blueberry pancakes.

The café, opposite a rice paddy field, is easy to find, and is about a seven-minute drive from Kerobokan. It’s open from 9 – 6 daily, with dishes ranging from $6 – $10. Please keep in mind that only cash payments are accepted.
