The Amandari is spectacular to say the least, with true luxury and perfect location on their side, it is hard to fault this place. You’ll find this hideaway high above the Ayung gorge, not too far from the most central part of Ubud.

This hotel boasts 30 freestanding suites, each with a traditional Balinese thatched roof and carved finishings in bamboo, teak and coconut wood. All suites come complete with a private garden courtyard, a large living area and an outdoor sunken bath. Depending on what you require during your stay, rooms are available with private plunge pools and outdoor showers.

The most opulent and largest accommodation choice is the Amandari Villa. It is spread over 1,500 sqm and features five pavilions, a two tiered swimming pool, a private kitchen and of course boundless and uninterrupted views of the surrounding rainforest.

If you fancy a spa treatment during your stay, they take place in two open-air gazebos that overlook a tranquil lily pond or in the privacy of your own suite. Tennis courts, a library, the restaurant and gym are just a few other facilities that available are available during a stay at Amandari Ubud.

The brilliant reputation this hotel has secured keeps guests coming back to visit, year after year. As a true testament to that, in 2012 Amandari Ubud was awarded the Condé Nast Traveller USA Readers’ Choice Award.
