Potato Head Beach Club Bali has one of the most recognisable exteriors in Bali. With a focus on bringing something original and personal to the public, this establishment has become something to tick off the bucket list for many visitors to Indonesia. Located on the beachfront, it is easily accessed by car, scooter or foot and isn’t too far from the centre of Seminyak.

As you walk into Potato Head, you immediately notice the super slick but quirky architecture by Andra Matin. The curved facade, designed to mimic that of the Colosseum, towers above the venue and is made from an eclectic mix of beautiful old window shutters, put together to create a patchwork of colours in the sky.

The artful surroundings and funky tunes work together to create an atmosphere that will have you settling in for the long haul. Day beds and lounges line the infinity pool that looks over the ocean, there you can place your order with the floor staff for something to nibble on while you sample the extensive drinks menu. Without a doubt, Potato Head is one of the best spots to see a gorgeous Balinese sunset. This multi level venue also has other dining options if being a bikini clad poolside ornament isn’t your thing.

Lilin is the restaurant on the ground level of the beach club is open for lunch and dinner and serves authentic Indonesian cuisine. All items on the menu have been carefully curated by acclaimed Balinese chef, Gede Susila. This informal al fresco venue with communal tables is situated looking over the pool area and sparkling ocean beyond.

Tapping Shoes head chef, Take Hikaru has 20 years of experience and has studied under many French culinary experts. As a result he has acquired the skills and knowledge that has been imparted via his restaurant. It is located on the second floor of the Potato Head complex and serves a unique and colourful interpretation of French cuisine. Tapping Shoes has recently initiated a full service Sunday brunch from 11am until 4pm.

Potato Head Beach Club Bali is also well known for the very popular special events held throughout the high season. Recently the club held their first annual two day event called Sunny Side Up Festival where a number of international artists we invited to entertain the crowd on a stage built over the swimming pool.

Naturally, you enter and exit through the gift shop; Eleven boutique is loaded with various treasures including swimwear, jewellery, sunglasses, artwork and Potato Head apparel.

Potato Head Beach Club Bali is open from every day from 11am – 2am.
