Zula Vegetarian Paradise is the sister café of Down to Earth Café and is a great little spot nestled in a side street in Seminyak. Away from the crowds and the bustling streets you would normally associate with this area, you will be able to relax and take 5 from the normal speedy Bali lifestyle.

This is indeed a paradise, especially for those of you who don’t eat meat, as they have one of the most creative vegan and vegetarian menus in Bali. The menu is extensive and will take you a while to figure out what you want so it is best to come with a good appetite and a full wallet.

This very friendly café smells so good and as soon as you enter you will notice they staff busily preparing food behind the counter. They will greet you with a smile and make you feel at home as they seat you on their super comfy table and chair settings amongst all the other hungry and happy customers.

Not only does their food and drink taste damn good, it looks good too and they take much pride in making sure presentation of every meal is perfect. All the food is made with the best produce they can source at the local markets nearby. Judging by their Instagram account, the favourite on the menu is definitely the Dragon Bowl – assorted grated and shredded raw veg line a deep soup bowl topped with avocado, tofu, tempeh, sprouts, noodles, shredded nori and plenty of tangy dressing.

If you fancy trying out some of their treats at home then you will be able to purchase most of the dry ingredients after your meal because the café doubles as a grocery store also. They sell everything from organic cold pressed coconut oil, to chia seeds, to homemade muesli bars and even cruelty free toiletries!

Take away and delivery are available if you are on the run or feeling particularly lazy. Prices for food and beverages range from 18,000 – 75,000 RP and they are open daily from 7am – 11pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
